The objectives of Kids for World Health are to give assistance, monetary or otherwise, to any action aimed at or contributing to the elimination of Trypanosomias or Sleeping Sickness in Africa and to raise awareness of the world's most neglected diseases.

To provide monetary support and assistance to doctors and workers in the region of Yei in southern Sudan for the treatment of Sleeping Sickness. The KFWH pediatric wing and the hospital in Yei, services 90 villages in the surrounding area. This KFWH initiative honors the dedication and work of Dr. Michaleen Richer, whose leadership in the treatment of sleeping sickness in southern Sudan, inspired the KFWH mission.
